Has anyone read or heard anything about a new album this year?

In a recent interview, Jon Oliva stated that they were going to discuss the "discuss the possibility of a new album".

Not much else has been hinted at since then. But then again, most bands make a big deal when they are working on a new album with progress reports and such. TSO typically treated the recording of an album like it was a state secret.

Unless it as Night Castle and it was more like Chinese Democracy. LOL

I thought they had already recorded a new "Gutter Ballet" and a "Romanov" album.....

They'd had a habit of releasing something every 3 years, so I was hopeful.
Night Castle in 2009, Dreams of Fireflies in 2012, Letters from the Labyrinth in 2015...

IF they were realsease one, whenever they announce the tour is our best bet of finding out. Crossing my fingers for something new. If LFTL and DOF are any indication.

The re-release of The Christmas Attic is the new album with a "live" Christmas Jam . WOO HOO! lol

He is asked. And he goes on for some time with his response, but ultimately it doesn't sound like he had a concrete answer either.
