I caught this episode on a plane ride. Here is a link to the full episode but it will probably become outdated at some point.
This episode goes through the roots of progressive metal and although the Savatage logo gets shown a few times, they are never mentioned by name. Instead, they focus on Queensryche and Dream Theater since they have had more commercial success.
I think Savatage's influence on progressive metal is difficult to deny but once again they are overlooked and not mentioned. Shame but not shock.
