Symphonic/Neo-Classical Metal band Orion's Reign has released a few albums, and every year they release a Christmas single done in their style.  This past December, they released their cover of TSO's Christmas Canon Rock with Norwegian singer Minniva on lead vocals - a very different but very rockin' take on this TSO classic:

Throne Of Eden also covered "Christmas Canon Rock" and did a real nice job with it. Interesting to hear a male vocal on this. They say that this is "one of our favorite songs we have performed live":
