Just saying, it's definitely none of Caffery, Pitrelli, or Skolnick. Angus Clark does play it live on west, was he the one? I thought he wasn't often featured in the studio though.

The only solo Skolnick ever got to play with TSO in the studio was "Believe".

Pitrelli plays 98% of the guitars (and much of the bass as well) on all TSO studio albums.

I actually knew both of those  but Pitrelli for sure did not play that CCR solo. It's not his style in the slightest.
