Not a whole lot of rooms left in the hotel right across from Quicken Loans Arena. Cleveland's always been kind of difficult, for me at least, to get good seats, first 5 or even 10 rows/center stage, especially when you need 4-6 seats. Hopefully this year I'll get lucky. Will take what I can get though. Should just go for side seats, but I can't seem to give up trying to get as close to the stage as possible. Really love watching the expressions on the performers' faces. I completely quit going for floor seats after the show 2 years ago. 8th row. Center stage. And I didn't get to see but maybe 10 minutes of the entire show because of the a-hole family in front of us holding their big ipads over their heads so they could film the entire show. Four people all standing the entire show with their arms stretched as high as they could holding what had to be 8x11 ipads or something similar. When the guy next to us asked them to stop, the father (it was him & 3 teenagers) laughed in his face & told him to "f" off.... They completely ruined the show for us and the family seated in the row behind us. Efforts to find an usher or someone to intervene weren't successful because we were trapped in the center of the row.... Music was great but I couldn't tell you one thing about the musicians or the effects because none of us could see them. It's the side for us from here on out.... :-( RE: TSO Ghosts of Christmas Eve 2016 Tour - petermian - 08-16-2016 (08-16-2016, 10:49 PM)mikeenc Wrote: Chicago is still there...East is doing it this year instead of West on 12/23. Also, only NY shows are the Prudential Center, no Nassau Coliseum RE: TSO Ghosts of Christmas Eve 2016 Tour - danfromnj - 08-16-2016 (08-16-2016, 11:38 PM)petermian Wrote: Also, only NY shows are the Prudential Center, no Nassau Coliseum Yeah - that was that way last year also. I havent heard any eta for the re-opening of the "new" Nassau Coliseum. Long Islanders don'e have too much of a choice these days. I really thought they would add a show in Brooklyn to help - especially since they dropped the Uncasville, CT show as well. Looks like a trip to New Jersey's Prudential Center is it for those folks. This is the first time these songs have been released in an audio package, and the album features a bonus track titled "Music Box Blues (Daryl Pediford Tribute New York 2004)." She has said on Facebook that she was considering going back on tour with TSO when people asked her. That's all I know. RE: TSO Ghosts of Christmas Eve 2016 Tour - NancyL - 08-17-2016 Tulsa's back. I'm sure it was dropped last year because they just couldn't get an open date that worked with the other dates on that loop. I had looked at the BOK Center schedule before the dates were announced last year and it was pretty well filled up. Never had it that bad, but people holding up devices to take photos and videos has gotten worse year after year come to think of it.
