TSO new hire for 2021 tour - GabrieLa
#1
Vocalist Gabbie Rae Trial, known professionally now as "GabrieLa", has been hired to be part of the TSO East cast.

As young kid of 7, Trial made it to the national stage after Tyra Banks saw a video of the youngster singing the song “Chase” at JR’s Fastlane in Providence. By then, she said she’d been singing since she was three years old, and she’d been going back and forth to New York to audition for Broadway’s revival of “Les Miserables,” where she made it all the way to being one of two finalists for the musical. Banks invited the young singing sensation to be on her show, and by the time it aired, Trial and her parents, Lynn and Roger Trial had moved to Myrtle Beach, North Carolina. She continued to pursue singing there, she said, but when the family moved to Los Angeles, her career really began to take off.

“It’s been like a chain reaction since we got here. It all started when Michael Sweet of Stryper invited us backstage after a show at the House of Blues. I sang for him backstage and we ended up becoming friends,” said Trial in a phone interview. Stryper invited Trial to sing a song at a show at the Whiskey A Go Go where the band’s agent from Bigg Time Entertainment saw her perform and signed on to manage the up-and-coming singer who’s been referred to as the “The Next Generation of Classic Rock.”  Another big break came when Trial and Patrick Kennison’s acoustic version of the late Ronnie James Dio’s “Rainbow in the Dark,” caught the attention of the Dio Foundation, which promoted the video that went viral. That helped Trial and Kennison land a gig on on the 2014 Monsters of Rock cruise.

Now 23 years old and known as GabrieLa, she released a video recently of her cover of a Miley Cyrus song:
