From various sites around the internet & on band member's pages:
Back in 2008, Paul was reportedly behind the band leaving a $10,000 tip to the servers who'd been waiting on them during 3 weeks of rehearsals.
Every concert, the band donates $1 from each ticket sold to a local charitable organization.
Chloe Lowery (I think it was Chloe) posted about one time Paul sent her out for hamburgers for a group that was working on something. Then he started peeling off $100 bills to give to her. She was like "I don't know where you think I'm going to get burgers but they won't be THAT much!" and he said something along the lines of "The rest is to tip the workers - you've got to remember to take care of the people who take care of us."
There are numerous stories of him meeting fans & giving them everything from silver dollars to sunglasses to TSO memorabilia & albums to leather jackets to hundreds & sometimes thousands of dollars depending on the circumstances. I know one young man at a concert I went to was given something like $800 to buy his own drum set after talking to Paul during the meet & greet. I've also seen him walk thru the crowd & pick out all the young kids he could see & have them given numerous TSO-related gifts.
A radio host in Connecticut posted this: Over the years we shared a special bond and he every single year, sometimes twice a year gave me $5,000 to pay it forward in the CT Community outside of the ticket donations from the concert sales. EVERY YEAR WE GAVE AWAY THIS MONEY TO CT CHARITIES. Over $75,000.
There are lots of other stores but those are the only ones I can remember/find quickly.
