I'm not here to pass judgment on the coke thing (though I'd say at his age, with his health situation/previous stroke, it's _probably_ terrible decision-making) but the DUI is just embarrassing. I hope he gets well soon.

Agreed. According to the now-public arrest record, they found two empty bottles of vodka and a bag of coke in his car, and more coke after they searched his property. And a blood alcohol content of 0.138. Thank goodness he didn't injur anyone else other than himself. None of this behavior is exactly new to Jon, but boy I sure hope that this one might be wake-up call to get himself straightened out.

I told a friend about this and it hit me: a guy whose brother died from a drunk driver got a DUI?

Wow, great point.  So much for Jon cleaning up his act. Here I was thinking he was getting himself in shape for a Savatage tour. I pictured him working out like Rocky 4. I guess I can file that back in the "Not Happening" folder.
