Al Pitrelli interview
#1
Pretty good interview but it is obvious the host did not know much about the band.  I did not know Al was close to Steve Vai; two musical maestros.

And it looks like Savatage is still a dirty word.  Shame...

Why do I have a feeling that TSO is trying to distance themselves from Sava / Jon Oliva due to his issues?

Man, Al is looking pretty rough. He (and Chris Caffery) need to take a page from Joe Satriani's book and shave their heads. Not a good look with the bald spots trying to be hid by comb overs and way too much black hair dye...not a good look at all.  BTW, did you know he lives in a mansion? I do...6500 square feet and only one room to himself. Angel

With all the festival dates next and most of TSO crew playing in them doubt they are distancing themselves. Maybe we’ll get that new album next year after all.

I watched another recent interview with Al and again no mention of Jon or Savatage and they act like Sarajevo was a TSO original, losing the whole origin of the song... Odd.
