Anything new?  Is it worth going to for us grizzled veterans?

Merry Christmas! Went to the Raleigh, NC show sat front row all the way to the right of stage. Good show but not their best and was not a sellout. Only 11,000+ attended and for that show (venue configuration) the place will seat around 16,000. John Oliva was in the house and Chris mentioned something about future Savatage stuff in the works...yes he did. He said, as he introduced Zac, that he (Zac) has been involved in Savatage past, present and in future Savatage things in the works...yes he did. Only thing new musically was that they FINALLY performed "Nut Rocker "and it was AWESOME. Kayla sang "When the Crowds are Gone" which was also great. They also had more interaction with the crowd as they went into the lower level seats and played around for a good while. The drum solo was also back. Not a real long one, but it was good. The show was really toned down from previous years. Not as much pyro and smoke. All in all, I enjoyed it and will more than likely head on back to Raleigh next season and do it all over again. Had a Joel groupie sitting right next to me and the whole show all she did was watch him and text him between sets...He came down and got a selfie with her and almost knocked me on my rear doing it. I politely tapped his shoulder to let him know I was there and he was in my space. He apologized and gave me a back pat and went on his way. The girl looked good in the dim lighting and then when the show ended and the lights came on...YIKES! That's why clubs are so dimly lit. Anyway, I hope you all have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas...I will for sure.
