It might be true. It might not. TSO always has given very guarded, positive spin answers to questions and how they present themselves. They know they will get asked if they are recording anything new; they will always say they are in the studio or assessing what to work on next. They would never say “no” or “who knows?”.
They also own their own studio, so they can do some rehearsing or auditioning there as well.
This whole “we found that song in a box” is a little contrived. Two years ago, Dino Jelusic was learning that song and was on his way to Florida to record it when Paul died. So it wasnt exactly some relic that no one knew about. It is a very old song though, dating back to his Slowburn band days.
Lastly, Mike, since you have repeatedly gone on and on about how you have given up on TSO and moved on to other music, you have nothing to worry about here.
